It's an eating kind of day..ugh

I am not quite sure what my problem is today but all I want to do is eat...and not good for you foods. I am being honest and recording everything but geez you would think after weighing today with a 2.6 lb loss that I would want to keep it off. UGH!!!!

Movies and Mall tonight. I took the time to plan where I was eating from and what so there would no problems staying within my calorie goal. I also know I need to skip the candy and popcorn at the movies tonight which is going to be very hard because I love the popcorn especially when watching a scary movie.

    best of luck to you! I love the popcorn too and do the most dammage before the movie even begins!!

    Good for you on your loss and I'm impressed that you are so aware of what kind of day it is! If we know up front then we can control it and not let it control us! Just breathe, drink some water, grab a magazine.....let it pass....

    I can really relate about the movie but here is what I did last weekend. First I got a "tote" type purse. In the bottom I put an already popped 100 calorie bag of microwave popcorn and a skinny cow candy bar. My favorite is the chocolate and I honestly can't tell it's low calorie! Skinny Cow stuff is amazing!! Then I put a bottle of water, my wallet on top and I was prepared when the lights went down.....

    I know they don't want you bring in your own food, but hey.....if they won't provide what I need then I will bring my own!! :)

    Good job planning ahead! Isn't the candy you logged for the movie tonite? Pick up a bag of Popcorn Indiana - All Natural Cinnamon Sugar Kettlecorn and measure out 2 cups in a baggie & bring it with you (only 130 cals I think). Bring an apple and/or some baby carrots to munch on too and you should have plenty to snack on & not feel deprived :)

    I have those kinds of days too. Sometimes it's just hormonal. I wish I could just say let loose and do it, but if you are like me, this one day will lead into a week, then two, than a month, etc. Good for you for being honest with yourself. This is the time you have to really dig deep and hang onto your anchor. You can do this!

    I can totally sympathize because I'm just a week into eating good again after two months of being out of control. I gained 20lbs from it. Hang in there sweetie.
  • Tomorrow is a new day. We all have these days. Try to not go totally out of control and start over tomorrow. The truth is, you are normal and probably not doing much damage anyway, if you've been good all the other days. In the long run, you are still ahead just because you are on this site workin it.

    Well tonight was a bomb....I had planned on a wrap at Chick Fila only to find out they were closed for remodeling. I didn't have a way to check nutrition facts for any other place so I ate at Big Easy. I ate Bourbon Chicken (low fat and cooked in no oil), brocolli, corn and white rice. I ate all the brocolli, half the corn, half the chicken and maybe 1/4 rice. I felt pretty good about that but then came the movie. We estimated the amount of popcorn and Reeses I ate but are pretty sure we got it close..Unfortunately those 2 things sent me over my calorie allowance. Tomorrow will be a better day!
