Going over recommended amounts

I have noticed that I am often going over the recommended protein, and fiber amounts. I am not keeping track of sugar but I go over it too. Although I have noticed that simply eating vegetables & fruit put me over the sugar amount. So I am not too worried about it.
Is it ok to go over on the fiber & protein? Is there point of going over too much? The other day I almost doubled the protein recommended.
I am not doing any strenuous workouts in my opinion. Simple things like crunches, push ups (not many since I am not strong enough), and I jog in place between 30 minutes to 1 hour a day (no more then 30 min at a tome days I go over ime).
I am trying to keep my sodium under the recommended amount but some days I go over like yesterday.

From what I've seen, going over sugar has more of an effect than going over protein and fiber. Those two are something you don't really need to worry about.0

I have tried not going over on sugar. However, I go over with a few pieces of fruit or a few servings of vegetables. Feel free to look at my diary and if there is a place that needs improvement then please let me know.0

In general, it's okay to go over on protein and fiber; it's not okay to go over on carbs, fat, or sodium. You can always adjust the ratio of carbs, protein, and fat under Goals, then Custom. Likewise, you can decrease the "recommended" sodium, which is actually pretty high. For sugar, it's your choice, but many people disregard sugar from natural sources like fruits and vegetables and only look at added sugars.0

I think their default numbers for fiber are too low. Everything I've read suggests 25-35 grams a day. And you'd have to eat over 50 grams a day to risk having too much.0

I actually strive to go over on fiber and protein without being too excessive. Sugar is one I try very hard not to go over on, even with fruit sugars, because it can contribute to belly fat gain.0

Your protein goal is 45? and carbs over 160? really? that is way out of whack.
If you know your lean body mass (LBM) and lead a sedentary lifestyle, you would still need about .5-1 gram of protein per pound of LBM.
And why are you jogging in place? You aren't getting any cardiovascular benefit or strength benefit out of that and not even burning that many calories. If you want to be stronger, lift more. Knock off the "crunches" and "pushups, not many" and put some weight behind what you are picking up. If you don;t belong to a gym or can't get to one, fill up two one-gallon milk jugs with water and do squats with them...that is a complex move that will work your quads and back. When/if you can do that more than 10 times, use 4 one-gallon milk jugs. When you can do that, look for something heavier. With very little investment in some equipment, you can do a lot at home. No jogging in place needed0 -
Thank you everyone. I wasn't sure if too much protein or fiber would cause problems or not.
If anyone has recommendations on how I can improve my diet please let me know.0 -

The nutrient goals were set by MFP. I don't know what they should be. And no I don't know my lean body mass.
As for jogging in place. Is it the best thing to do? No, but its sure better then sitting on the couch and doing nothing. I don't do a slow jog either. I try to lift my knees high & to go as fast as I can the entire time. Its not a light little jog. Also, the space I have is very little. I would love to run outside but at this time its not possible. I do what I can.
As for push ups. I know push ups work many muscles so not sure why your seeming to put them down. Anyways, I do as many as I can.
The gym. Well, thats just not in the cards at this time. I must do everything at home.
Thank you for the tip about using milk jugs filled with water. I will be adding this.0
