I love coming on here to read people's stories and success stories...definitely keeps things into perspective that this is a lifetime commitment and losing weight can't just happen quickly!

A rough idea of where I'm coming from: been fit all my life, in fact mostly underweight and even had to see specialists because of low weight throughout high school, then university kicked in and I was a healthy weight (115-120lbs), my later years of uni I went up to 135...still not bad, I have a 5'2 frame, long story short during my pregnancy I had preclampsia and gained A LOT of weight (most of it which was water weight which I lost quickly...dealing with the last 20 pounds now!)

Basically I've always known to be the "skinny girl", and people's reactions to my weight after birth was so demoralizing, you know the "oh...I didn't even recognize you"

Anyway I've been committed since mid-august doing my second round of 30 day shred now, I've lost 12 pounds...but since the beginning of October I havent lost a pound ;( I'm going overseas to see my inlaws mid november and I had a goal of being 65 kg by then or roughly 145 pounds. I'm stuck at 154 for 3 weeks now..I've been working out, counting calories...I'm so frustrated and don't know what's wrong

I generally eat healthy, drink lots of water and I breastfeed my 7 month old. Now I'm not sure if I should be eating back my breastfeeding/exercise calories (a combo of roughly 600 calories)

I'm being realistic and changed my goal before traveling weight to 67kg , I'm currently 70 kgs....I can lose 3 kgs in 3 weeks?? That's realistic but whyyyyyyyy isnt working

OK done whining! I know its still early in my journey to expect quick results but I just didn't think I'd plateau this soon!

Make sure you are eating enough it as important as NOT eating too much.:flowerforyou:
  • are you changing up your work out or keeping it the same every time? Your muscle start knowing what to expect which can create the plateau you seem to be on. Go try a new class, something more intense or longer than you've been doing. This might shock your system into letting go. Whatever you do, don't give up!
