I eat a lot on my work days...

I wake up at 4:45am to go to work & get off at 5pm. By 5pm i've usually eatten nearly 800 calories & starving. I sit at a desk for 10 hours a day, four days a week. I generally go to bed no later than 9pm.
On my off days I get up at the same time I'm moderately active but by 5pm i've eatten roughly 550 cals & I'm not hungry at all.
Is that weird, am I doing somethibg wrong?

Chances are your bored at work and are eating because of it.
I know i eat more on days where i'm sitting around but if I'm up and active then i eat a lot less because my mind is occupied.0 -
I am in about the same boat. Try chewing gum or getting those sugar free candies to suck on. Or even carrot & celery sticks. Maybe even a big bottle of water...these things help me out quite a bit.0

What kind of food do you eat at work? It could be you're eating high calorie/low nutrition foods (junk food) and that is why the calories are so high but you're starving after work. Try packing some easy, healthy snacks the night before to take with you to work, just to nibble on like carrot sticks, celery, granola bars, healthy trail mix, or a fresh homemade salad with dressing on the side.0

I always take snacks that will keep me full at work like yogurt, protein shakes, cheese with an apple, etc. Or even soup! Lots of soups are low cal and filling.0

I bring at least 1 fruit, either a fiberone bar or fiberone yogurt, healthy choice or lean cuisine for lunch & half plain deli sliced turkey sandwich or half pb & j. Do you think that's junky?0
