Blender Bottle is AWESOME for mixing protein powders

In the last couple of months, I added a protein powder to my mix of lean protein options. I mix is only with water and until today, I had been simply putting the water and powder into a cup and using a spoon or knife to stir it up. Needless to say, this left some "nuggets" that didn't dissolve/mix. Personally, I was okay with this. I have always been that kid who likes to find and unmixed pocket of cookie dough mix in the cookie dough
Anyway, I found the Blender Bottle on the web in the course of ordering some more protein mix. The Blender Bottle arrived this week and I tried it today. Its AWESOME!!! I put in the water, protein mix, tightened the cap and shook. Smooth result. I love it. I highly recommend this product if you're one to mix protein powders.

I totally agree...I love my blender bottle! Just a tip, I found that after initially mixing the protein powder with water and shaking it up really well, I let it sit for about 15 minutes or so. After that, give it another good shake and it's totally blended!!0

Perfect timing! I have been looking for a good one since I've decided to start incorporating protein shakes into my diet. This sounds like what I need and I went to their site and found it's sold at a store right by my house! Thanks again!0

Add me to the list who have discovered this awesome blender bottle. My tip is to shake with room temperature water, then add ice after shaking. I find that the powder mixes better than with cold water.
Soccer Chick, I am going to try your tip of waiting and shaking again in 15 minutes before adding the ice.0 -
I got a free blender bottle with an tub of protein from the local Super Supplements, I have like 4 of em now
And make sure you clean them out right away... protein residue left in those bottles ruins em, you'll never get the rotten *kitten* smell out of em.0 -
Ditto on the shaker bottles, love these! And Soccer Chick is right, if you shake them up & let them site for a couple minutes (not necessarily 15, but at least 5), you get a nice smooth shake after that. Here's a favorite recipe I can share:
Iced Coffee Protein Shake
8 oz cold coffee
8 oz unsweeteened almond milk
1 oz DaVinci sugar free Kahlua syrup
1 scoop whey protein (I use Optimum Nutrition Gold)
Mix well in shaker bottle & enjoy!

My Walmart store has also started to stock them next to the protein powders, though I bought mine at amazon.com.
Great purchase.0
