Hi there I have been using Myfitnesspal now for around about 40 days, and found it extremely helpful. Much like yourself. My weight is a huge problem going up and down but since using this program. I have lost 41 lbs. 3 oz. I have now been on my diet for 69 days. If you get yourself in the right mindset and keep you will power strong, you will achieve your goals.

First of all, it is always going to be a struggle, some days are just easier than others. But it is nice to come here and listen to people have bad and good days. I have met some wonderful souls here and there are a few I wish I could be friends with but this and but that not to mention the distance. Keep your chin up girl. Sometimes you do need to eat more calories or try something different for exercise. Good luck. :flowerforyou:

When I started my journey, in the back of my mind I wondered well is this time going to be different? will I keep the weight off? How do I know for sure?
After two years of learning, changing my lifestyle and behaviours I know I will never go back to my old ways living.
Diets never use to work for me... sure I'd lose but because I never changed my lifestyle or behaviours... the weight returned and then some. The secret of this ex yo yo dieter is that diets do not work.

This time is different. I am committed to me for the first time in my life. Yes it is hard... I still struggle and will no doubt for a long while. For 47 years I developed bad habits and food was an emotional crutch... 2 years doesn't end it all.... i still have my moments... but I learned what to do in those moments to get me through. Health is so important, and being committed to that, I can stand my ground and be successful.
Having been 550 pounds, on BP meds, and 90 & 80 units of insulin a day and barely could walk much without being tired or out of breath and now on no BP meds and no insulin... walking everywhere with so much energy.... I know I increased my life expectancy and risk from cancers and heart disease in doing so.

Weightloss is a long arduous journey, one that is hard but with commitment you can battle through stalls, plateaus and anything else you come up against and still come out victorious.
