I have been on this plateau for a couple of months I think-- it's like once I hit 145 I just could not get any more weight to come off. So I upped my calories and my exercise, and two weeks later I've finally started losing again. Here's hoping it continues! 9 lbs to go!

You UPPED your calories???? And you still lost weight? Did you up it with more protein, fats........? Just curious cause I have been on this good eating for the most part, water only (no sodas), and exercising for 10 days and have only lost 3 pounds! The scale hasn't moved in days!! It even went up half a pound the other day!
  • OMG thanks for this post. I'm having the same problem. I'm at 145 and I've stalled for three weeks now. I will try increasing my calories and cardio. Thanks again!

I have a quick fix for you. Your body may be over worked. Meaning, add in some rest days. If you're working out 10 days straight, your body needs to rest and restore itself. I ran into this same problem over the summer and it worked for me. Good luck to you.

I've taken 2 days off in the last 9 days. I don't do really hard workouts. I mostly do low impact aerobics (with little interval bursts) and light strength training. I try to keep my calories in the range of 1200. I do eat most of my exercise calories back. I have a lot of belly fat. It actually looks like I am 6 months pregnant! :(

Oh I see. I'm having the same problem. I'm gonna send you a friend request. You may need to increase your calories and really burn your fat...I mean intense cardio and lots of water. Since I've done this, I've lost 14 pounds since the summer and 2 inches off my waist.

Thanks for motivating me to do the same ! I'm stuck around 145.5-146.5 and been feeling really crappy about it. Time to up my calories again and not be so lax on my workouts !
