Question About Plateau

Hi everyone! I think I read somewhere on here that your body tends to plateau for a while at a previous weight it recognizes. First, is this true? Second, do you have ideas how to work past it? And third, how long did it take you to work past it, and did the weight start coming off a little quicker after that?

I started this journey back in late June at 180 after giving birth to my second child. I feel like I have been at the 165-170 range for about 2 months now, which was the weight I was at for about 11 months after giving birth to my first child and before becoming pregnant with my second. I know if I just keep pressing in that I will see results! But I guess I could just use some encouragement and knowledge in this area! :)
