I'm a newby here but no newby to trying to lose!

Hi everyone! I'm so glad to be here. Eventually I'll put up a pic! Right now I'm just reading posts and trying to get my body back to exercising again. I started today with a 10 min walk and plan to take another one later today a little longer though. My hubby walks one of my dogs every day and me and our other dog stay home doing whatever we do. Going to be back to walking again with him. It'll be good for both me and my Mickey (my small Papillon). Right now I'm sporting a beautiful heart monitor for about a week and I have another week to go before I can take it off for good. I've had some dizziness and shortness of breath and my Cardiologist thought we'd just see what's going on day to day with my heart. So, I've decided not to join the gym until it's gone. I'd don't want a lot of questions and get the gym all excited about maybe I might have a heart attack in their facility! LOL!
Hubby and I have started about a 85-90% Raw way of eating for about 4 weeks now. We have of course cut out all the junk. The only time we let it goe is about once a week if we are invited somewhere or we have someone over for dinner once a week. He's lost about 12 lbs and I have lost about 10 (my weight loss actually started a few weeks earlier by me just trying to eat better). So I think I'm on the right track.
I'm looking forward to reading everyones posts and getting new ideas. Thanks everyone in advance!
