What do you think is better doing a lot of reps of light weights, or doing as many as you can with the heavier weights?

depends on what you want to get out of the workout....

I tend to do a light/moderate amount of weight for 12-15 reps. enough that towards the end I can barely lift the weight.0 -

i have a big prob w/ my droopy, flabby arms. worse than my 85 yr grandma's!:noway:
yesterday, i asked a trainer at my spa if there is any hope in repairing them. he said, at my age, (45) and w/ the lbs i've lost so far, not a lot can be done.
but he did reccomed increaseing the weights i use targeting my triceps instead of doing more reps.
:grumble: i prefer to keep my weights low.:grumble:
hope that helps a bit!0 -
Thank you.
Thats exactly how I feel i like to keep my weights in the low range, but i thought that maybe if i do heavier weights results would happen faster...:grumble:0
