Nutritional information

I feel ridiculous asking this, but can someone tell me how to properly measure for calories after I have read the nutritional section. Are the measurements they list raw or after being cooked? On the box of couscous it states that it is 140 calories for 1/4 cup. Do I measure it before it is cooked or after?

I think with things like couscous pasta and rice the measurement is before it is cooked.0

It pretty well needs to be measured raw, because if you like your pasta etc al dente (I think that's the still crispy one) your "cup" will weigh less than a cup of one where the pasta is cooked so much it's falling apart from the water in it. Measuring raw allows you to take the same amount of pasta, cook to your preference and have the same calorie count.0

Not sure, what i do is just make a cup then eat 1/4th of that cup and save the rest for other meals0
