I want somebody that is hysterical with great lips that cracks me up a all the time. A lil on the meaty side so I feel safe and small like a woman.
I am a very funny sweet woman. I am not meaty?
this is probably a horrible response.0 -

LIkes response ^^^^ :happy:0 -
A type... my type has never really changed... simply not ugly... meaning teeth aren't rotted or missing... regularly takes a shower or bath... keeps herself presentable and clean... nothing major. Cute, sweet, caring, funny, and fun...
How do I measure up??? I very rarely feel like I "measure up" to anyone's standards, especially if they are superficial in nature.0 -
No type.
I'm not into women, so no.0 -
Athletic and manly :] Love some facial hair! No pink tho :P not my thing xD
I want a guy who can keep up with me! Im an active girl
Well I don't have facial hair but I meet my own standards :]0 -

 This is me. And right now, I am kind of all that. So, I should probably just do me. oh wait....0 -
i don't have a type physically speaking...but i do love a funny guy...as far as how i measure up?....well i judge myself horribly on the physical front and often feel i attract partners much better looking than i am....humorwise....it's equal most of the time....if anyone takes themselves too seriously in the relationship it's usually me0

hahahaha, hm, I definitely want someone who can crack a joke and likes to tease. also, can handle it when i throw it right back. someone who appreciates me for who i am and doesn't want to change me.
i also want someone who likes the same kinds of things i do, but considering how i even collide with my bffs on this, i just don't think this one is in the stars for me. :sad:0 -
I hate super muscular guys, but I need a man with meat on his bones and some strength. I love a funny guy who also knows how to entertain himself, but will come entertain me when I need him. He's gotta be interesting and interested in what I got to say. Must love the outdoors and animals of all kinds, even spiders, snakes, squirrels, and mice.
I'm not muscular, I obviously have meat on my bones and thankfully I'm getting stronger at the gym. I'm pretty funny and I can entertain myself with a piece of string for at the very least an hour. I love being entertaining too. I like to think I'm interesting and invested in being interested in what other have to say. I love the out of doors and just about any and every animal there is.
Thankfully my hubby is everything I was looking for (and more! He's so supportive!!) I'm happy to have him!0 -
Not really sure if I have a "type"... I like someone that is thoughtful, funny, has some similar interests, and has some sort of hobby or belief that is important to him. Looks don't matter as long as hygiene is good, as long as he is comfortable with himself.
I don't know about myself though... I don't really have anything to offer and just take up space.0 -
I've learned I definitely have a type. A guy for me is healthy - doesn't smoke, doesn't drink very often. He eats relatively healthy, he likes to do things like biking or hiking or camping, he really likes music and ideally plays an instrument. He'd also have to be really clean - showers regularly, brushes his teeth, wears clean clothes. If I notice bad breath about someone, I have a hard time looking at them the same :P
This basically also describes me. After dating quite a few different guys, I've learned that these attributes mesh the best with me.0 -
I always go for handsome, intelligent, and witty. For me, intelligence is the base for a great sense of humor. Body type isn't all that important, but I don't think I would date someone who wasn't into some sort of physical activity. Hot soccer player legs are a plus.
I think I measure up to this. I assume when people are laughing it's with me and not at me. And I've got a sexy eye patch.0 -
My type: Christian, manly, self-confident (includes not being jealous), good sense of humor, intelligent, loyal. It took me a while to find him, but that's my husband of 16 years!
I'm not manly, and some may question my intelligence. Otherwise, yeah, I measure up.
I love working on projects with my husband, e.g., building chicken coops, building fences, etc. We both come up with lots of problem solving ideas, some of them silly and just for fun, but we listen to each other and come up with solutions. We tell people that, between the two of us, we almost have a whole brain!0 -
. I assume when people are laughing it's with me and not at me.
How do you go about feeling like this??? Because I"m the exact opposite... always have been. If I'm out somewhere by myself and there are people nearby laughing I ALWAYS assume they're talking about me and making fun of me even if I have no clue who they are or what they're talking about.
How does a person get past that???0 -
I met a girl who wanted a handsome guy, with a nice car, his own place, good job and could take her places she wanted to go, even though she didn't have job, didn't have a car, living with her parents and I thought to myself, isn't that a bad investment from the guys point of view? like you would have to have a gold plated coochie or something?0

Not only, what is your type and what you are looking for but, how do you measure up against your own standards?
Yes, and yes. In fact, I met my husband via a personal ad in the paper (yes, we are old, they didn't have Match.com then). I listed everything I wanted in a man (and I was pretty demanding: NOT MARRIED, funny, happy, tall, attractive, homeowner, advanced degree(s), non-smoker, no substance abuse, fit, well-employed earning at least 6 figures, and dog-lover), then ended the ad by saying "I have all of those qualities myself, except the tall part"
Edit: BTW, I got an INSANE number of responses to that ad.0 -

I love that girls here are realistic. Skinny guys are just...eh.... I think realistically the most BEAUTIFUL woman in the entire world is Tara Lynn. She's a French plus-sized model and she's my ultimate physical inspiration. I absolutely LOVE her curves and one day I'm going to look just like her! Right now, not so much, but my personality is what should really matter (lol).
As far as a guy, definitely chunkier, tall, with a great sense of humor. I think guys that do small things (like pick up my mail on the way in the door) are the bomb. It's about the simple things0 -

You probably don't get past it until you're ready to grow up. Kids go through a stage when they think the world revolves around them. As most of us grow up, we realize the sad truth. It's not about us. Maybe the time has come? If not, try to imagine they're just jealous of you.0 -
I know most people think I'm full of ****, but if you can make me laugh...you're my kind of guy. I'm not a looks kinda girl. I prefer the person to live an active lifestyle like me. I tend to go for men who get my sarcasm, and don't take things seriously. Looks are nice, but if you can make me laugh -- you pretty much have my heart.0

I don't think I've ever been in a relationship before where people will look at us and think "oh, these two make sense"
But I really am not a looks gal, I just love to laugh.0 -

oh wow. straight to the point with a touch of humor, too (the tall part :P)0 -

Yes, ha, I am straight-to-the-point kinda girl. And why not? You should have seen the men's ads then (remember there were no pix attached). Most of them said they were looking for "hourglass" figures, or even would list 36-24-36, blonde bombshell, etc. It would have been interesting to see if those men could measure up (ha, although it wasn't that interesting to me that I answered any of them).
Anyway, why shouldn't a woman be straight to the point, right? I say if you want success in anything -- education, career, relationship . . . fitness . . . you go after it with your all; put forth your best effort and you will reap the rewards. Relax your standards, and your results will likely be less than optimal.
