I used one 2lb container of it, but immediately stopped because of the price. If you aren't stuck on using GNC brand, two extremly popular protein powders (and in many many flavors) are Optimum Nutrition Whey and Gaspari Nutrition Myofusion Whey. 5lbs of either will run you approximately $50 which includes the shipping from www.bodybuilding.com.
120 calories per serving (optimum) and 147 calories per serving (Myofusion). Both are 25g protein per serving.
I don't go into GNC, their prices are a bit high for me.0 -
I appreciate your help0

I should have also said that most any whey protein will do what you need it to do. I wouldn't worry about any fancy additives. A little protein powder to supplement the diet and help your muscles repair is going to serve you well.0

I haven't personally used it but there is a woman on here who has been using it for about a year and it has done wonders for her apparently.0

body fortress in walmart works for me and is way cheaper0

I am curious as to how much the protein powders work, are they worth the cost?0

Personally I REALLY like Dymatize XL Elite protein... It is time released and keeps me from getting hungry for 10-12 hours... I have used other recovery drinks but this one of the best..0

Love this, I am looking to get more protein in my diet, so trying to get the best brand, I dont mind paying that little extra if it works and tastes good, I would just cry if I paid extra and could get the same product with the same results for half the price...
Anyone with any more info???
Love this post xxxxxxxxx Thank you xxxxxxxxxx0 -

They do work... I know when I started I would be sore..in just days I felt amazing. I have started working out harder and running and
sometimes I just can't shake the pain. I know I need to rebuild and my body is needing something.0 -
I know u guys gonna envy me for this, but i got this product somehow on clearance for 13$ at rite aid. It works. The thing is, I bet a lot of protein works. Ive tried muscletech elite series and that worked too. Ive tried the 20$ jar at target and that works too. My conclusion is that every protein works... dont get caught up in the extra additives or brands. I work out daily and i just need extra protein to meet my macros. Im currently taking Wheybolic ripped, we will see how that goes. Next ima try gold standard whey... trial and error til i see which one i liked best.
For those of you that need excessive amount of protein but hate how the fat and carbs rack up when u do consume too much, try ABB Pure Pro 50. The stuff is amazing and are all 50 grams of Protein with no more than 2g of fat and no more than 9 carbs... Must have for me. Hope this helps you.0 -
Over the past 20 years I have tried around 10 different protein powders, but I always come back to Optimum Nutrition Gold 100% whey. Hard to beat in price, taste, BCAA, low card, and high protein per serving. I buy it from Amazon for about $45 for 5.5 pounds with free shipping. Dutch Chocolate is quite good. It seems to be a high quality no gimmick product.0
