HR managers!!!!! Help please!

I'm currently in grad school for Industrial/Organizational Psychology and all my other HR friends have failed to return my calls for an interview. I'm asking MFP friends and user for help! I need someone in the HR field to answer the following questions and also give me some information on your organization.

Questions:
What is the organization’s current strategy for employee selection?

What factors are considered when selecting candidates?

How does the organization assess that the right candidate is selected for the right position? Or, is the decision process and probation period the primary assessment options?
