So sick.....

So for the last four days I have been knocked on my butt with this cold.....on my week off from work no less. I've been hot, then cold...horrible chest burning cough, sneezing, stuffy nose, head congestion, terrible headaches....the last couple days I've barely been able to stay awake more than half an hour at a time.

So along with this I have been so weak and tired I can barely walk around or make dinner or anything, so I obviously have no strength or energy to work out. Luckily I know I have not even come close to going over my calories because I either have no appetite, or when I am hungry nothing seems good or tastes good or I feel somewhat nauseated by all food.

I am finally started to feel better (just in time to go back to work Monday, yay). I don't see it happening tomorrow since I still feel pretty weak, but if I have enough energy to work out on Monday and get back to the normal routine, should I go back to my usual workout, or should I start small and work back up to it through out the week?

I say don't push it. You don't want to damage a fragile immune system. Get your strength back before you try to expend it again...

Glad you're on the mend - you'll be back up to speed on exercise before you know it:bigsmile:
