Need help losing the tummy

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone out there in MFP had ideas specifically for shrinking the tummy. I have found that I hold the majority of my excess fat in my stomach-I have quite a gut. While my ultimate goal is to be fit and toned all over, my stomach needs the most work, and I would love some suggestions on how to target all the tummy fat.
Thanks MFP!

Unfortunately you can't spot reduce your fat. Fat will come off 1st wherever it feels like it and it seems the tummy is the hardest. You can do ab and core exercises to build up the muscle but the fat needs to be burned off during a combo of strength training and cardio along with a healthy diet. I have read in many many places that diet is more important for losing belly fat than exercise.0

Stomach fat will generally be the last to go. Just keep going and it will eventually disappear.0
