So after seeing graze boxes from the UK check out www.grazebox.com to find out what it is if you don't already know, I decided since we have nothing like it here in america that I would make my own. I used my Japanese Bento lunchbox since it is small and has upper and lower containers with moveable sections in it. It's really perfect to use as my grazebox. I went to whole foods and pick up some neat snacks. My graze box today comes in at about 700ish calories. Which is great since technically it is my breakfast and lunch with snacks and I graze on it all day here at work. So this is what I put in mine today

-Kaia foods- sweet curry sunflower seeds 1oz
-roasted unsalted mixed nuts 1oz
-wasabi peas 1oz
-5 olives
-Amadeus Cheese 1oz
-Dr. Krackers pumpkin seed and asiago cheese flatbread 1 flatbread
-Dark Choc covered Goji Berries 1oz

Thats what's in it today, I change it up and I am also trying to figure out how to add more protein and make it a little more well rounded as far as nutrition goes. Hard part is you can't really put anything in it that can't be out of the refridgerator. I love the graze box because I can nibble all day, you just have to pace yourself so you don't eat it all in 2 hours haha.

    That's a cool idea!
  • I love the graze box idea! I wish we had this in available in America... I do make a small graze container... After breakfast in the morning I always want to munch a little and have a snack... I usually have fresh fruit then this litte container which is about 1/2 cup with mixed stuff in it.... Today I had a giant peach and in my little container I had 18almonds, 1 prune, and 1 large dried fig. I have 5 more boxes set up for this week with the same snack... Next Sunday I'll set up all 5 again with different things.... I try to combine cruncky, sweet, and chewy.

I keep 1/2 cup sized containers in my cabinet with similar snacks, usually filled up from the Sprouts Farmer's Market out here. Cracker mix, yogurt covered raisins, nuts, and always one with roasted edamame beans in the car, since I get the munchies after my gym trip.
I love the graze box idea, makes me feel so lucky that I work at home and have access to healthier food without someone bringing it to me. Way to go on building your own!
