If I can do 10 reps of pulldown at a weight equal to my own body weight, does that mean I can do 10 pullups?
Body weight pulldown = body weight pullup in terms of strength required?

One way to find out! Grab that pull up bar and have at it! Pullups actually engage more muscles in your body then a pulldown will so I bet you be able to do it!0

No, less - probably between 2-5 less for pull ups.0

Thanks! I can't do body weight yet, but I am getting pretty close, which is exciting. I will give the pullup a try one of these days :happy:0
