I think that the '99 Cent Store' is going to drive the 'Dollar Store' out of business.

How many dollar stores are really $1 or 99 cents though? Most of them that claim that aren't anymore. :(

Per the thread: dollar store meds haven't been less effective for me than the name brand stuff. There might be one or two exceptions, but I can't recall off the top of my head. All pain medication has been comparable to the name brand stuff, though.

    Dunno.

I only shop at Neiman Marcus or Nordstroms - Nowhere Else !

and sometimes the sale rack at Target.

    okay, mostly Target.

What are: two stores I have never set foot in. Target's cool, though. When they actually have what I need, anyway.

    I like Nordstrom's - nice gear.

( not always the cheapest price tag, but sometimes..... ya gotta live a little...... * shrug. )

I think I only shy away because they don't appeal to me on an aesthetic level, not because they're expensive (if it's expensive, but good, long lasting quality and you like it, I'd say go for it).

    Not enough cat/rock shirts.

I have both a briefcase and a leather jacket from Nordstrom's which have lasted forever.

Cheap? Nope. But I haven't had to replace them over and over either.

Hey, a good storage for stuff (briefcase/purse) and a nice, classic jacket go a long way. What's the leather jacket look like, style wise?

Nice! Very classic. Given the life of some leather jackets, it might actually outlast you.
