Hope everyone is having a great weekend - even if you're not posting!

Today, I'm up to teach yoga. We are catching a movie this afternoon, and I need to go to the store, so I need to do most my exercise this morning.

Yesterday, I lowered my jog speed to 5.5 and managed to do 5 minutes straight of jogging. It was amazing how much easier it was than 5.8. I think I'm going to keep it at 5.5 but do one sprint each time (at 6.5) for a minute.

Happy workouts y'all,

Mary

Hi, Mary! Just stopping in to say, "hello". Hope everyone is doing well. I'm doing ok here. It is very quiet around my office since a couple of us have been let go. No one knows what to expect. I guess you could say that I am one of the lucky ones. At least I know what's going on with me. I've got my resume out there and have made lots of phone calls. I've got a lot of support from the people I've known for the past 15 years. I have a position in mind that I would really like to get. The department has asked to have more attorneys added, and they are awaiting word on funding from Congress. If that comes through, I hope I have a really good chance of getting a position with this agency. Keep your fingers crossed for me, and prayers, too, if you are so inclined. It would be nice to have something lined up before Feb. 20th, my last day.

As far as exercise, I've been keeping it up. I have cut back from two hours a day to one just because with my current situation getting up at 4:00 in the morning was wearing me out. :noway: So, instead of doing weights and spinning 2 hours Monday through Friday, I'm spinning on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and weighs on Tuesdays and Thursdays and "sleeping in" until 5:00. Then, I just do different stuff at home on the weekend. I tried out my new Wii Fitness Coach today for an hour and 15 minutes. It was interesting.

    Take care!

I've still been feeling very down, having what I can only guess is reactive depression from the current still ongoing labour dispute. . .when I expressed worries about this to my doc. . .she said "I'd be more worried if you weren't depressed right now."

I'm trying to refocus for next week, and although I'm not making the best food choices, I'm keeping my portions mindful and reasonable.

Long story short, I want my life back, and need to figure out how to take it back.

Just wanted to check in and to try not to be a downer.

On the upside, I haven't binged and have kept up with both water and vits. I'm trying to stay active (yesterday I cleaned for four hours) but I'm getting precious little scheduled exercise in. I'm on the "something is better than nothing" philosophy right now. . .

    Take care.:flowerforyou:
