Hey everyone! I've been experimenting with some snacks to satisfy chocolate cravings at a low calorie price. I recently came across this topic of Frozen Peanut Butter Chocolate Rolls, (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/362575-frozen-peanut-butter-chocolate-oatmeal-roll) And it gave me a few ideas of my own. So adopting a few ideas from this recipie, I decided to cut out the peanut butter and implement a fruity flavor instead, to make it less in fat and calories. I ate one bar around lunch time and it filled me up till dinner as well as satisfied my chocolate craving!

So here is what you need

1/2 cup of dry instant oats
1/2 tbsp Hershey's Cocoa mix (I used unsweetened)
1.5 tbsp Smuckers Sugar-Free Strawberry Preserves
1 pinch brown sugar (or to taste)
1tbsp water

Mix all the ingredients into a bowl. Shape into a bar (or cookie) and place in a zip lock bag, foil, or seran wrap. Place in freezer for 20-30 minutes
The way I made it came to about 175 calories roughly. You can use a sweeter cocoa mix or add more sugar to your own preference.

Hope you enjoy! Feel free to post any alterations or experiments you've tried similar to this and how it came out!
