I did the first week or so because my knees couldn't take the 30 min I wanted to do all at once. I did 15 min in the morning and 15 in the evening of stationary recumbent bike, Walk Away the Pounds, walking on nicer days, etc. Just about 15 min at a time and threw in some resistance band work at the end of each to tone upper and lower I just traded off days.

  • During the summer when my husband is gone to Vegas or Daytona Beach for his summer job, I work out twice a day due to being off for the summer and I am usually bored at home. I will generally do cardio both times and weights one time. During the school year, I only go to the gym once a day.

the only time I do double workouts is when I do my normal workout in the AM and can catch an aerobics class after work...but that isnt very often..

I take Saturdays and Sundays as my days of rest. If it's nice and I want to take a walk I do but other than that it's no exercise for me on the weekends.
  • Yes, but not on Sunday=) During triathlon trainings to get in 3 run, 3 rides, 7 swim, 2 strength....requires several twice a day workouts.

I work out twice a day fairly often because of my schedule. I'll do cardio separately from lifting. But if I have the day off, I like to get all my work done at once, so I'll do a couple classes or lift and do a class. After a couple hours I'm pretty tired and then it's nap time.
