My sister posted this on Facebook the other day. :happy:

Missouri! Where tea is sweet & accents are sweeter,
front porches are wide & words are long,
Mac & Cheese is a vegetable,
BBQ is the state food,
you'unz is a proper pronoun,
chicken's fried,
biscuits come with gravy,
everyone is honey,
someone's always getting their heart blessed,
& we are all "fixin" to do something
& everyone lives just down the road a ways.
YeeHaw!

    :laugh: Funny. Ive only lived in MO for a couple of years. Other than the BBQ, most of this doesnt sound like here. Infact, you cant find any BBQ places that serve mac n cheese with their BBQ. Thats so.... un-American!

    I have lived in Missouri all my life and everyone knows youns is not spelled like that!!!

    I was born and raised in Missouri. I left with my new (Air Force) hubby when I was 25. I can so relate to all of it!

    I was born and raised in Missouri too and I miss it. One of these days I would love to move back.

    What part of Missouri are you in cause I have never been anywhere like that and I was born and raised here.

    I currently live in Washington State buy was born and raised in Missouri. We lived in the way north/central part of the state right up by the Iowa line.
