Today up until 10min ago, my sugar was EXTREMELY low for the first time in a long time. Can this cause me to have very bad dizzy spells? Has anyone had similar experinces?

Yes definitely. My blood sugar is often very low and the only way I can tell is that I feel dizzy and faint.
afaik though, it doesnt mean that you need to eat something sugary it means that you need to eat.0 -
Oh yes this happens to me on occasion. In fact it would happen to me whenever I used to eat cereal for breakfast. About 2 hours after, I would get shaky, sweaty, even dizzy. So I stopped eating carbs for breakfast and concentrate on proteins and fat and small amounts of carbs. I haven't had a low blood sugar spell in a long time now.0

Do you measure your blood sugar levels? I only ask because there are other causes of dizziness.
I thought it was because my blood pressure was too low but after multiple checks followed by other tests for blood sugar, iron, thyroid etc, I have been diagnosed with vertigo. Just had a CT scan this morning to rule out (hopefully) any other sinister causes.
If it persists, please see your dr.0 -
I was told that by a friend too. We just looked up all the symptoms of Vertigo and I have them all. I have had an iron defficency for awhile now but have never had symptoms to this extent. I feel like I just came back from deap sea fishing and am land sick lol. NO FUN! Going to the dr. next week so hopefully they can look into it then. Thank you.Do you measure your blood sugar levels? You might wanna head to the doctor if this is a reoccurring problem... When I was younger, I was diagnosed with severe hypoglycemia. I was nowhere near being diabetic, but my blood sugar would drop like a rock.
I passed out at an event when I was in eighth grade. My blood sugar was somewhere around 14. Yes, I was dead, and had to be resuscitated. ><0
