High Maltose Corn Syrup

Imagine my surprise when I bought a snack last night in a rush at the grocers and didn't take the time to check the ingredients as I normally would.
High Maltose Corn Syrup... so what the manufacturers thing that because we "all" know about high fructose corn syrup if they change the sugar involved that the product is better? Really if I'd seen that or the canola oil or the 3 hydrogenated oils in the ingredients I'd never have bought it.

Know what you're buying, watch the ingredients even when you're in a rush.. perhaps especially when you're in a rush.
