Hi!
I just wanted to give a heads up about this amazing App I found! (Many of you probably know about it, but I just found out a week ago so I thought I should share)
It's called RunKeeper and allows you to track your running, what pace you run and even has a "personal trainer" option that allows you to set intervalls or just updates on how long you run (a voice updates you every 10min/depending on settings etc).
I always had problems with not knowing how far I've run, this app updates directly to your Runkeeper profile online and even has a map view ov where u ran. You can add routes, goals, and I'm sure I don't even know half of it yet
- only been using it for a little while: www.runkeeper.com
I just find it really motivating to run with it! I still have no friends on RunKeeper, so please feel free to add me on LisaLorentz
Have a great day!

Oh yes, Runkeeper is fab!
I used to use Mapmyrun but I found that was pretty crashy, Runkeeper seems better though it does lose the plot sometimes when the GPS signal drops out. But, the good thing is that you can go online and recreate your route to make sure the stats are accurate.
Have you checked out their training plans? You do have to pay for them, though if you have the time you could enter them yourself for free.
My other favourite Runkeeper feature is the Pace monitor - you can tell it your desired pace and how often you want feedback and it updates you as to current pace, average pace and how far you are off your desired pace. Very cool!0 -
I love RunKeeper. The pace part is my favorite for when I'm on runs or doing a race cuz it keeps me right where I need/want to be. I also love that I can set it to skating and it tracks my roller skating info as well. Overall great app.0

I'm semi new to using it, I have created some routes online though, and like u guys said knowing the pace is awesome as u can easily improve!
Being able to build routes is perfect for me as I'm still figuring out this city, and sometimes when you just run around blocks it feels as If you've ran quicker than you actually have, so this keeps me up to date!
You guys please add me if you want, I think seeing what other people have accomplished would be a total motivational boost!
Have a lovely week!0 -
I looked threw the training plans, what did u mean by if I had time I could enter them for free?0

You can enter each activity manually - click on Coaching when you are on the Start screen then go to Intervals, then down the bottom you will see Add New Workout.
You can check out the training plans to see how what intervals are in each run and replicate them here.
But, if you pay for them you get them all ready to go.0
