1/2 cup oatmeal ( this was 1/2 cup measured dry)
2 squares of Lindt & Sprungli Excellence - 70% Cocoa Nut Crunch
Half a serving of mini-marshmallows

WW points - 8 (yikes...is it this bad for all oatmeal?)
Calories: 295.................Carbs: 46.................Fiber: 5.................Fat: 10.................
.................Sugar: 16.................Protein: 8.................Sodium: 21
You could probably add nuts if you like it a bit more crunchy/nutty.

Sounds great but if you are looking for fat loss.....not a great choice, even if you are calculating your points into it. It is a very high carb, high sugar and low protein recipe that could also induce cravings and not keep your blood sugar level, leaving you hungry soon after you eat it.
There is actually a better way you cook make this by reducing your sugars and uping your protein but with kind of the same taste you are trying to achieve.0 -
I'm not on WW, but my aunt is and I posted this recipe on our facebook group. So I figured I'd just transfer it over. lol0

That sounds delicious! I love Rocky Road, but I'd probably try to lighten this up a bit. 8 WW points seems a little steep for 1/2 cup of oatmeal.0

This sounds like it would make an awesome healthier dessert option, thanks for sharing!0

ya. That's why I was wondering about oatmeal in general, more than half the carbs is coming from just the oatmeal, only like 10 carbs from the chocolate & marshmallows....so I figure oatmeal must be high in WW points no matter what? Like I said I don't do WW, so calorie wise this totally fits into my food log and doesn't mess me up for the day....0 -
Sounds like a dessert . It may be good for the occasional breakfast treat like pancakes or donuts.. not something you do everyday. It really looks yummy. but I agree with an above poster.. very high in sugar and carbs with very little protein. you could reduce the serving by half and add some protein powder.0
