Pain in the butt.... literally

I just started riding my bike every morning. I love it. BUT.... my butt is killing me. It isn't a muscle pain. It feels more like a bruise on my bone from the seat.

Is this normal? Should I go get one of the bigger "old lady" seats to make it more comfortable? Will my butt just get used to it?

    This is normal, I went and got one of those gel seats, nice and soft.

    gel seat cover will def help... but you will also get used to it. Totally normal!

    Believe it or not, the narrow seats are more comfortable. My gel seat was killing my behind but I changed to a narrower racing seat and I was cured (I had already made several rides). No matter what seat you use, your butt will still have to get used to it. Just keep riding!

    I just started running and yesterday the exact thing happened to me. I think the bone was out of place a lil bit. I couldn't walk on it, I couldn't sit on. It was literally the worst pain of my life.
