protein overload

Options
I have been on MFP for about 3 weeks & have been losing weight but I am consistently under my calories, expecially when I have exercise calories, but am always at or over on my protein. If anyone knows how I can increase my calorie intake without increasing my protein please let me know.

Thanks so much Hannah, I just looked back thru my diary for past days & noticed pasta & potatoes where fairly high in calorie & low in protein. I guess I need to make some adjustments in what I've been doing but it shouldn't be hard I LOVE PASTA!!!

Hehe, yes so do I.

When I started out I had the opposite problem you are having now, I've never been much of a meat eater so I had to find things that were high in protein that I liked. Now I go over protein by 20g a day on average and I generally have a few carbs left over. Its all about finding that balance.

    here's my idea!

One plain quaker rice cake with one tablespoon of natural unsalted crunchy peanutbutter (from bulk barn) has 135 Calories and only 5 grams of protein... heck eat two... I use these as a great snack or to get in some extra cals.

PS.... you would get a lot more response if this was in the right section (not that I care, cause trust me I dont) try putting it under Food and Nutrition.
