How many ounces in a Tbsp of yogurt?

Options
I usually measure yogurt with a tablespoon (especially using plain as a sour cream substitute), but all the measurements in the database are in ounces. Anyone know a rule for conversion?

Google says 1 tablespoon = .5 fluid ounces.

For future reference, google has a built-in converter. Just type in "convert 1 tablespoon to ounces"

I also had the same problem. You must weigh/measure yogurt as a solid, not a liquid.
2 level tablespoons of greek yogurt (nonfat) is 1 ounce. I weighed this on a food scale.
    Hope it helps!

I use Google's converter on a daily basis. You can just type "2 tbsp =" and it will pop up a converter where you choose the units. I love it. My husband is a Google Certified Trainer and does several presentations a month on the little tricks built into Google search. That one has to be my favorite.
