I'm thinking of starting a fitness challenge for people over 250 pounds. Just wondered how many would be interested. I am over 250, have participated in 2 challenges, and it was fun. Since the last one ended a few weeks ago, I've not been exercising as much (besides being sick) and I need motiviation to get my rump shakin' again.

I don't want more than 20 people or it gets to be too much to handle. Anyone interested?

    I don't think I've ever been excited about being over 250...but I was 252 this morning! What kind of challenge?

    I can't exercise for another two weeks due to an injury but I would be interested. I'm 252lbs

    I'm thinking we have daily requirements - so many sit-ups, push-ups, walk so many miles, or burn so many calories. If we meet the challenge, we stay in - if we don't we're out. Go for 6 weeks...see who wins!

    I am pretty lazy in the fitness department, but since others in this group are pretty much in the same boat as me, perhaps the challenges won't be too tough. I have lost 55 pounds so far (no longer over 250, but still close)through dietary changes alone and it's about time I start adding exercise to my weight loss regime. I am planning to get back on my bicycle once I get below 200 so that I can go on rides with my husband and two daughters (who are currently going without me :sad: ).

    I would be willing to give it a serious effort.:bigsmile:

    I would be interested, however, I am dealing with knee injuries and limited on what kind of exercise I can do and for how long, so if it's basically a fitness challenge this may not be the one for me.
