I've done it and I found it quite good. Once you're past the initial Atack stage it's actually not that restrictive and it felt quite heathy. The main benefit I found is that it forces you to cook things from scratch, you have to get creative with the ingredients you have to work with but once you get into it I found I was eating quite a varied diet - lots of veg and low fat dairy along with the protein most days. I was full of energy, my skin was glowing and, most importantly, the weight really did fall off.
I think a lot of people look at it as a quick fix faddy diet but it really isn't - it's definitely something you have to look at as a long term diet option. I lost a stone on it but then decided to go through the "Stabilisation Phase" and go back to calorie conting at the moment simply because I'm having to travel a lot with work which doesn't allow me to put in the prep that is required - you really can't just grab lunch on the go with the dukan and it's very all or nothing so if you're not in a position to really put in the effort then I'd steer well clear - but if you're someone who likes a strict diet with very clear rules to follow then I'd definitely recommend it0
