Hello guys,
Got this info online and I would like to hear your ideas and opinion about your fave exercises.
Here's mine:
Deadlift - Best compound exercise ever!
Squat - Another breathe-taking compound movement.
Flat Bench Press - Superb upper body compound workout!
Switch the bench press to pull-ups, and I'm in.0 -
leg drops-to keep up with the abs
tricep dips-to keep away the bat wings
elliptical-great cardio and resistance, and works arms and legs!0 -
Obstacle course like the Warrior Dash! Running, climbing, jumping, crawling... it's got it all!0
-
My three choices:
Squats
Deadlifts
Running
I have never tried the Crossfit routine, but have seen the competitions on TV and would love to start trying it.0 -

Triathlete in the making0 -
Squats - need to sculpt the *kitten* and legs
Plank - Perfect for strengthening the core, and there's so many different ways to do them to work different parts of your body
Tricep Dips - I dunno, something to even out the arms hahah!0 -
1 - Hiking
2 - Martial Arts
3 - Weight Training (mainly core workouts, at the moment)0 -
Thanks for the quick response guys!
You may post any type of exercises that you like/love doing...
Keep it coming guys.0 -
If we are talking moves, then deadlifts, pushups/pull ups, split squats.
If we are talking cardio, then swimming, running, rowing. I'm not including weights in there because it's not a choice, it's a privilege.
IMHO those are the absolute best compound moves and cardio exercises to get a balanced full body workout.
That make sense pal. For cardio, I go with Sprint, Running and Skipping rope.0 -
For strength training
Any move I can do in a plank- Can work core, legs, and arms all at once!
I'm a wh#re for squats& lunges- I love the burn it gives my legs the day after
And I love all sorts of crunches/ reverse crunches
For cardio
Jogging, elliptical on high resistance, sprint intervals
Also...reading this makes me really want to try dead lifts.0 -
Also...reading this makes me really want to try dead lifts.
Do it! Get someone to teach you properly though who is qualified (or watch a ****load of mark rippetoe vids).0 -
HIKING is a must!!!! biking, deadlifts, planks...there are a bunch!!!0
-
strength exercises: squats, pushups, dead lifts
cardio: boxing, sprinting, biking, but also love zumba and of course this one is a given --- horseback riding!!0 -
The basics:
Wide arm pullups (with a weighted vest)
Weighted sqats (25# dumbells in each hand)
Pushups with push up stands and a weighted vest
I hate them all, but they do what they are suposed to do and work multiple muscle groups0 -
Curls (in the squat cage)
Hammer curls (also in the squat cage)
Leg curls (texting people in between sets).
On a serious note:
Deads, Squat, Bench, although I can't flat press due to shoulder joints, so for me it would default to DB incline for lack of a better choice given my circumstance. If I could pick a 4th, weighted pullups.0
