So i went on my 5 year old daughter's field trip as a chaperone to a ranch. In the past I have been really hesitant about participating in certain activities because I was too big or afraid that I would be unable to perform the task. We get there and the first thing we do is ride a little train. By little....I mean the seat was 6" from the floor. The platform for the train was quite a BIG step and I was concerned that I would not be able to pull myself up. Nevertheless, I did it!!! I got up there and got in the seat with NO problem!! Oh, I was relieved. NEXT, was the hayride which was a trailer with one step that consisted of a 2x4 with vertical support posts. Again, quite worried, I held back and got in after the other parents. I grabbed a hold and started to pull up, but couldn't quite do it. I took a breath and went after it again and FINALLY, I pulled myself up with NO help!! For those of you who have not been as big as I am, it's hard to understand how something as simple as getting on a hayride can be so scary and intimidating. But I DID IT!! No embarrassment, no problems. Just easy. That is something that will keep me going!! I will keep increasing my fitness and decreasing my size. The MFP experience has been one of the best in my life. I am THANKFUL that I have such a huge support system.

Just wanted to share this with y'all! LOVE ALL YOU MFP'ERS!!
