Southbeach anyone...

I am wondering if anyone has done southbeach, I need to teach myself a new way to eat, a better way to eat, good carbs, high protein and fiber, I think maybe southbeach is a good starting point for that, if anyone has any expereince, good and bad I would love to hear it, Thank You

I think it is a good lifestyle :] Not so much a fan of the first 2 weeks though. Cutting out all carbs made me paranoid for a long time xD0

I tried it. It was recommended to me by my doctor as a way of reversing PCOS. The first two weeks were the toughest for me. Once you get through that, its smooth sailing. It teaches you a lot and reverses a lot of disease and ailments we cause on the body. I bought a book and it gives a lot of recipes and testimonials from people who have been on it. You have to be disciplined though, which I lacked at the time. Now that I'm on here, I may give it another shot. Hope this helps0

i agree, its great to learn about how food works just in general and that book teaches that, the first 2 weeks are a bit challenging but once its over, its makes you really look at what you eat instead of just passive eating. I think its a good wat to start. Good Luck!!0
