Hi, I just bought a new set of scales showing that I am the following:

Kg - 83.1
Water - 50.9%
Muscle - 38.8%
Fat - 25.5%
Bone - 14%

1stly, the percentages do not add up to 100? and,
how do I best use this information?..
Is there a site that can tell be the ideal proportions for my height (172cm) age (31) and sex (male)?

  • What kind of scale is that? I need a scale for my house and I like the fact that that scale tells you so much about you. Not sure the best way for you to use the numbers tho but hey your more water and muscle than fat that's a good thing.

Its an Elysian, Aerobic - Body management scale
  • I bought the same scale, but the manual does not say how to "prompt for measurements". Can you tell me how you get the scale to display body fat/water/calories? Thanks in advance.

I have a scale that measures those things. Based on the description, I don't think it's supposed to add up to 100%. I have the EatSmart Precision GetFit Digital Body Fat Scale, so it's a different one but the same idea.
