i can't afford a nutritionist, but I really don't know a lot about proper nutrition balance. I obviously know what the healthiest foods are, but I don't know how to balance them etc. Does anyone have a book or web sight they recommend? I don't want anything from a direct marketing vitamin company. I want it about food. Thanks so much!

www.choosemyplate.gov is a good place to start. Another place to look is your local library. Good luck!0

Also, if you have a local "mom 'n pop" health food store, they will usually give you a basic run down for free.0

Check out the articles and blog posts at PrecisionNutrition.com. You'll learn alot about how to eat and what kind of choices to make in regards to food and nutrient quality.0
