    Seems unusual for a dog. I thought they were generally pretty easy-going.

    I love my cat but.... I think she's just using me.

    I love my cat but one trip to the litter tray can make the whole flat uninhabitable until it's been cleared. How does such a stench come from from such a small, cute animal?

    Omg...Like try talking to him. See where his "deep issues" lie and what you are doing thats bother him so much. Are you hovering over him while he eats? taking up all the room in the bed? Using the peanut butter for non food related activites and he is sick of being used???

    yeah, my dog was a total *kitten* sometimes too...but she's been gone almost 2 years now and I miss her all the time...so enjoy the jerkiness while you've got it!!

    Yeah I have the same problem.

    Usually if you just threaten them, that helps. I started by telling him that if he didn't wipe his feet when he got in the door, I was going to drive him to the pound. Seemed to work. He wipes his feet every time now.

    Today I told him that if he gets any fleas, I'm going to wax him.

    ...we'll see how this works.

    You have a user cat too? We've had him since he was a baby couldn't get enough of us. Now he wants to be held and what not when he wants to and looks at you like your crazy when you try. He also prefers to be outside and runs out everytime the door opens only coming back when he needs sleep and food.

    This also helps a great deal. I found that my dog is in a bad mood for the rest of the night if I don't ask "did you have a good day today while I was away at work?" as soon as I get home.
