How to search for friends on MFP?

My account and email got hacked last year, and all my personal info was spread out on fb (man girls can be mean...) which lead to my profile being de-activated. I had many dear friends on my old MFP account, and remember some of their names, I've tried many times but can't find where it is that u search for members. Any help would be very very appreciated!
