My husband and I have one as well. It's the TC5000, with a heart rate monitor that you strap around your rib cage (it gets so sweaty!) and no fancy screens. For the first little while we never used it and it collected a bunch of dust. Then my husband pondered out loud about selling it to get it out of our living room space. Now I use it more often just so we can keep it. It really does kick butt when we are on it, and I can feel my muscles worked the next day.

That's the big thing to consider I think... space and money spent verses if you really are going to use it.
