Where to begin?

I have tried to lose weight my entire life, and I keep on failing at it, so I'm doing something wrong. But, I think at the same time I don't know the correct things to do, because I've never been given the right tools. I don't know how to eat healthy, or what to make. My choice of foods is fried food, fast food, processed foods, etc...But the funny thing is that I enjoy cooking and if I knew of good ways to cook or something like that I would do it. But, at the same time I've always hated being told when getting healthier, oh just eat some chicken and vegetables because guess what that is boring to me.lol I really want to do this, but idk what to do or where to begin. It has to be as simple as possible for me so that I don't get bored. I hope I can get some help and advice here! Thank you so much!

1st...set your goals, and live by them...you can have cheat days, but imo its best to get in a eating pattern.
2...work out, even if its walking at start...mixed with a bit of weight training. if you can, run a little..burns fat like a hummer burns gas.
3 read labels! crazy what you think it good for you that is full of crap!
4 work out
5 dont be afraid to ask questions here...most helpful site that i have ever found.
6 work out
7 focus on your goals, and dont let anything destroy them...imo, its a mindset that will become a addiction, the kinda addiction that you will be proud of in the mirror.
8 oh and did i mention work out...nothing like it when you get that high from working out and you feel like you can destroy anything in your way!0 -
I'm kinda in the same boat Katie. I've learned a lot from the trainers and Vern at the gym but its hard to do, especially when trying to feed a family who is used to "the good stuff" for dinner every night. The thing that makes or breaks my daily nutrition is whether or not I've planned my meals for the day. When I'm caught unprepared, I freak out and don't think about what I'm putting into my body. Do you wanna start going to the gym with me again? Lord knows I need it, and that money is just going to waste every month. Even if we just go three days a week and do cardio to start. I have a new number, but I'll text you. Let me know if you wanna get together and just talk a bit, or go work out. You can do this Katie, look at all the success stories on here! WE can do this, we HAVE to do this.0
