Hey guys! I so I've been reading and hearing so much about flax seed that I finally bought some ground flax seed mill yesterday. I wasn't sure how to incorporate it, but I made a salad for lunch today with a homemade dressing concoction:
1 tbs zesty italian
2 tbs pace picante
1 squeezed lemon wedge
Pinches of cilantro, sage, and ground pepper
Then I added a tbs of the flax seed mill and it looked kind of funky, didn't smell great, but I put it on my salad anyway. WOW! It gave my salad more of a "food" taste. Sometimes I feel like a bunny because I am so busy I have to carry around snacks that don't need to be refridgerated and can be eaten quickly- so thats fruit, carrots, celery ect. Adding the flax seed really boosted the taste and satisfaction level of my salad. I'm hooked.
So, what are a few of your favorite things?

My new favorite thing is Laughing Cow spreadable swiss cheese. Only 50 calories and I used it to replace my regular tbsp of mayo and slice of cheese on my sandwich. Tasted sooo good, I didn't miss the creaminess of the mayo and the flavor was outstanding! Saved 130 calories0

I use the Laughing cow spreadable LIGHT swiss for only 35 calories. I put it over the top of a Wasa Multigrain crisp bread for a great snack under 100 calories.0
