I have tried a couple recipes from skinnytaste.com & they were great, particularly the Healthy Chicken Nuggets & Chicken Cordon Bleu. My whole family will eat them, even the 16yo.0

Yea, with an unrequested dose of sarcasm. And you just proved my point again0

Where was the sarcasm? The OP asked for suggestions for recipes. She got what she asked for.
What is the difference between http://tinyurl.com/3kvy9n8 and people posting skinnytaste.com? Both are just links on the internet, the only difference being that one is a specific website and the other is a search engine that returns numerous websites.

There are many forms of humor, why attack someone? Why not let it go? I didn't see anyone go after the grape and water comment.
Seems like there is more than one bad outlook in this really great topic!0 -
toasted whole wheat english muffins (100 calories) with 1 wedge Laughing Cow cheese and 2 pcs. Canadian Bacon. yummy! I love this.0

It came across sarcastic to me "I've got a great site for you!", and it obviously come across that way to the original poster as well. Like she said, she is entirely capable of googling, she was asking her peers on here for help. It didn't seem a sincere effort to help , but I could be wrong. There were also several other posts that clearly were not taking the op seriously and provided no help. I was also taking the opportunity to post about the cattiness trend I have seen in general on this site recently. You know, posting a graphic telling the original poster she had no sense of humor..just seems unnecessary. I don't come to this site for entertainment, I come to gain knowledge to aid my weight loss battle.0

I didn't attack anyone, I just expressed support for the original poster in case SHE was feeling attacked. I don't want anyone to feel like they can't ask any question they want and get support. And after that I was defending my position. But this convo IS now contributing to the negativity..so I'm done posting..I hope everyone has a great night! Gonna go eat my sandwich now0

And is complaining about what other people post helping you gain knowledge to aid your weight loss battle? :flowerforyou:0 -
This is a totally great place to look for low calorie recipes - with pictures!

wow im sure that took more time than ACTUALLY providing useful information. If I wanted to search for something I would have done it. A recommendation for a peer is far more valuable than advertisements from a generic search engine. SO how about this next time... http://tinyurl.com/yec5txt
The OP's question came across as lazy to me. If she is not going to put forth any effort to actually find recipes (and pictures of food herself) than why should everyone else be expected to? MrsCon was not being catty, she was showing the OP a place where she can find what she is looking for. The forum is a great place to find answers to questions people have that they are unable to find elsewhere and share personal opinions. OP's request is neither of those.0 -

Actually, you will get more ideas from a quick Google search, and it will be faster. No need to overreact.0 -

I disagree. I don't think it was catty.0 -

And you typing that response took more time than ACTUALLY looking up useful information. Quit being lazy and go either Google something or buy a cookbook or go on to allrecipes.com. Then, you can find something that is actually useful to you.0 -
A sandwich sounds pretty good for breakfast. Boiled egg, smashed between toast. Easy Peasy. Sorry, no pictures.

THAT was catty? Are you new? How is providing a link catty? How could any of us provide more info, (with pictures!) than the most used generic search engine? I think it calling someone, "unnecessarily catty" IS catty. Nowhere did she cut ANYONE down, you did that all on your own and you successfully hijacked an entire thread over it.0 -

in addition to google, there is also a wonderful search function within this very site.
you'll find that many of your peers have asked this question. many times.0 -

I haven't found any cat recipes with pictures here though, you may want to look elsewhere.0
