So I do this spin class on wednesdays and its like a combination spin/bootcamp. We do about 20 minutes of really intense bootcamp exercises in the class and I feel like I'm dying after every one. I was wondering, in 20 minutes of bootcamp(today we did a circuit that was 15 squat jumps onto a step with 2 risers, 15 med ball slams, 15 push ups, 15 hurtle jumps, and 15 jump squats where you touch the ground) 4 times. How many calories do you think I burned if i weigh 139 lbs?

I would log 20 minutes as circuit training and the rest spin?? what your doing is a circuit style workout which burns alot of calories0

For me, this 20 minutes of bootcamp type exercises would be 130-200 calories. I weigh more than you but I'm fit and I wear a heart rate monitor to my bootcamps and spin so this is a pretty precise measurement of calories for me.
For a 45 minute Spin Class I burn 350-400 calories depending on the tempo.0 -
I do bootcamp every week, but mine doesn't sound as intense as yours. I count it as areobics, general. It sounds like your class would be high impact. The way I figured it in the database, 20 minutes would burn 147 calories for you.0
