Hi guys, I need to lose weight. I am 18, 6'1, and weigh 245 pounds. My goal weight is 180 pounds. When I started losing weight and tracking it here I started at 274 pounds so I am making progress :).

    That's great, keep up the good work! Better than me today, I had a small bag of Skittles and very much enjoyed them.

    Thats awesome, to be honest we have much in common I began dieting/cardio when I was 18 as well and now 3 years later I've dieted down from 255 to 170 and then last winter had a bulking phase in order to put on some good weight (muscle) and then went through a cut last spring to show off all the new added muscle. I promise with a strong mind and tons of motivation you can get down to that goal weight but don't think 180 if you're starting at 245 think 235 first and work your way down. It can get frustrating if you always look big picture on weight loss but seeing small goals being accomplished every few weeks helps keep your motivation and attitude strong!
