i always eat something after dinner but i try not and eat after 8pm. alot of times i mix yogurt with rolled oats and ff cool whip, or ff sugar free ice cream with ff cool whip and peanuts. Although these are not horrible snacks or extremely high in calories i am looking for healthier after dinner snacks that contain less carbs and preferably more protein. i have been racking my brain all day....ANY IDEAS?

You know there's biologically nothing wrong with eating after 8pm, right? :)

I second the Greek yogurt suggestion. You can get Fage 0% fat plain and stir in whatever your heart desires in the way of flavorings, and totally control sugar, etc. I love it with just a packet of sweetener, about 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon and a couple of drops of vanilla. Tastes reminiscent of a cinnamon roll w/cream cheese frosting!

unsweetened (plain) greek yogurt with chopped nuts and maybe a little fruit (frozen blueberries are yummy!). i also sometimes put a few drops of stevia extract -- (no cals and all natural sweetener).

My night time go-to snack is a 100 calorie bag of microwave popcorn.
