But I am hungry! I am fighting the urge to go raid the fridge, as I am just slightly over my calories for the day. I have had lots of water. Ate lots of protein, veggies, very little processed food.

it's difficult to get into the groove at first. if you're really hungry i suggest having a light snack as low in calories as possible. your body is hungry because it's not used to the lower calories. tomorrow is a new day so don't be too worried about being a little over on your first day. i was over by a few hundred on my first day. you'll get the hang of it :]0

Keep yourself busy, start a new hobby, keep your hands busy & your mind occupied.0

Great Job! It definitely takes a little getting used to. Habits are hard to change. You can do it!0

even though you're over if you have some berries or something small then that's not bad compared to eating something processed as a snack0

I have heard a quote that goes something like this: " Nothing tastes a good as thin feels". Believe me, it is right. Find low cal foods that are filling. I love hot air popped corn. filling and good for you.:flowerforyou:0

You might try some sugarless gum - just in case what you are feeling is not so much hunger as it is a sweet tooth or a longing for the familiarity of what has satisfied you in the past. Often just that little blast of sweet can satisfy the craving and leave you none the worse for the five calories it cost! LOL0

I personally like saving my cals for dinner. I don't feel hungry during the day for some reason and in the evening I'm a happy camper!!
I wouldn't worry too much though. Your body is gonna get used to the new routine eventually.0
