Hi all you knowledgeable people, can you take a look at my calculations and see if I am on track:

CW - 136lbs
Height - 5ft 3
Age - 28
Sex - Female

Using http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/harris-benedict-equation/calorie-intake-to-lose-weight.php

I calculate that my BRM is 1411.1

Then as I am: If you are moderatetely active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/week) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.55

I actually exercise most days, either weights or cardio, spin or tabata... but I dont think the amount of cals I burn is all that great, weight day is usually 150 - 250kcals burned (using a HRM), running, around 400kcals, spin, around 400-500kcals.... tabata, 250kcals

SO... getting back to this

1411.1 * 1.55 = 2187.205 kcals needed daily to maintain.

To lose weight deduct 500 kcals per day to lose 1lb a week,

SOOO I should be eating net of 1687kcals. The 500 deficit will come from less calories consumed OR / AND exercise.

So if I exercise and burn 400kcals, I need to each 200kcals????

If this is true, why or why am I not losing weight? :grumble:

Thanks for the help.
