IBD Food Help!!

Does anyone else on here who suffers from stomach problems such as IBD, IBS, or ulcerative coalitis have any problems eating lettuce? I have noticed that lately I feel VERY bloated and I have also started eating way more lettuce and was wondering if there was a connection and if anyone else is finding this as well. Thank you for any help and advice.

    some people get sensitive to eating too much fiber too quickly.....but those type of symtoms should fade.

    I have IBS and too much roughage can be an issue. I don't eat any more than one salad a day when I do and I've found grean leafy lettuce isn't as bad. Plus I skip the dressing - I'm beginning to think it adds to the problem because since I've stopped using any dressing I don't get as bloated. If you get too uncomfortable you should check w/ your doc on recommendations.
