I'm supposed to be editing photos for a wedding I shot on the first, and sitting still absolutely KILLS my shoulders due to lovely muscle spasms.

I have tons of stuff to do and don't feel like doing any of it. :explode:

I also wish my employer was more consistent with delivering my PAYCHECK at a certain time so I don't have to drive to town with a 2 year old in the car only to have to kill time waiting for my money to arrive.

Phew.

I feel so much better now.


Anyone else need a good whine? I'm here for you.

I work for a family friend and get paid via personal checks. We are not that high tech. I wish...

My whine is that I should've won the costume contest at the Screamtown 5k last night. My pirate costume rocked, it was homemade, and I ran the whole race carrying my dagger and musket.

There is always tomorrow! This gives you time to shop for the wee one and show up bearing gifts from "Auntie".

ah family friend. I would have recommended getting paid via amazon payments, paypal, etc..., but you would have to raise your rates to cover the fees they charge. Probably not a good idea since you're working for a family friend.

my whine: the interior of my washing machine smells rotten and moldy, even after a cleanse cycle, and i have seven loads to catch up on. another cleanse cycle takes an hour out of my day that i am not being productive. sometimes, i love front-loading wash machines, sometimes, i hate them.

LOL I actually already have gifts for her! I've been saving them. haha. I'll be there tomorrow for sure but it's the WAITING for tomorrow that's killing me! I have seen pictures though so at I know what she looks like and she has the absolute chubbiest cheeks EVER. I love chubby baby cheeks.

To the assistant director: If I politely decline your offer of food, just accept that and move on. I wasn't rude, I smiled, said "no thank you, but it does look wondeful" and tried to walk away. I should not have to justify my eating (or lack thereof) to you. You turned what should have been a brief, casual encounter into something drawn out and awkward.

That said- I understand that everyone is enjoying barbecue and all the southern "fixin's", and yes, it does smell delicious. But I am not hungry, nor did I come in here to eat. I came to serve food to our patients and assist in any way that I am needed, as requested. While I am sure it is wonderful to have a seat at your table and watch all the "underlings" run around and serve food, I'm choosing to decline. You say you are impressed with me for how efficiently I do my job- now let me work.
